Nanny Christmas Wishlist

Here are my top 6 nanny Christmas present ideas! These ideas are applicable no matter the time of year and are great gifts for any childcare professional! These ideas have all been tested by me, or are gift ideas from other nannies!

1. Anthropology candle: this candle is one of my absolute favorite candles! This was my 2015 Christmas gift from my nanny family. It comes with a $30 price tag, but the scent is quite gorgeous. Another reason why I love this candle, is because of how long it lasts- I can burn it for weeks and still have wax/smell. Find this candle on: anthropology or a close second at: target.

2. Car Detailing: I LOVE THIS GIFT IDEA! If your little is anything like mine, 40% of snacks, pouches, juice/milk ends up on the seats, roof, floor, or window of your vehicle. Google a full service car wash near you and ask them if they have gift certificates and do right by your nanny!

3. Water bottle: If you’ve known me for a while, you know that I don’t go too many places without my water bottle. I swear by Camelbak. They are my favorite type of water bottle and almost always guarantees that I reach my daily water goal. The one in the photo is leakproof (essential with little ones), and some even have a locking feature, if your child is always eager to share a bottle with you. This link is to my absolute favorite Camelbak!

4. Gloves: my nanny family gifted me these awesome gloves last Christmas. They come with one pair of gloves and an extra glove. If you’re anything like me, then one glove is always getting lost- this set is handy because it allows you to easily/quickly replace the lost half. Check these out on Amazon!

5. Patagonia Backpack: this backpack is a total game changer! It’s perfect for the little one or for any busy family. The refugio 15L backpack has just enough room for us to stuff everything but is compact enough that C can carry it- if need be. In our backpack, we have a ziploc bag of extra clothes, several snacks, wipes, boogie wipes, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, mosquito spray, first aid kit, water bottles, toys- the list is endless!

6. Nanny shirt/ leggings: I love the idea of a nanny shirt. There are some really cute ideas on Pinterest or google. The idea for leggings is pretty great! Most nannies I know, live in either comfy, knee-worn jeans or leggings. We spend so much time on the floor or painting pictures or baking and so it’s nice to have clothes specifically chosen with our everyday in mind. Black leggings go with everything but feel free to get colorful, if that’s what your nanny likes. Google black/colorful leggings or check Amazon!

*These gifts are all just ideas to attach to your nanny’s Christmas bonus/card. It’s such a nice thoughtful way to let your nanny know that they are appreciated!
